theorchestradev/orchestra is a desktop app that places coding agents side by side as project-based terminal sessions. The 2026-11-04 commit d52d861 handles the 0.22.0 release preparation. However, the only file this commit touched is CHANGELOG.md, and all it did was write a new version entry in 18 added lines.
The new feature is a settings search that finds entries by name in the settings screen and jumps straight to them. Status bar items and keyboard shortcuts are also included in the search scope. On the changes side, Changes now compares against the branch's merge base (the common ancestor point of two diverged histories) by default.
The comparison target includes not only committed changes but also staged changes, changes that are not yet staged, and untracked files. The baseline branch uses the base branch of an open pull request if there is one, and otherwise the local default branch reference. The existing selector for choosing the session baseline remains as it is. Changes refreshes automatically while it is visible on screen, and the status bar follows the branch that is actually checked out. A detached HEAD, which is the state detached from a branch, is not an exception either. There are also appearance changes. The settings sidebar became wider, and the work item page and the review page follow the same style as the Automations page.
However, this commit contains no code or test changes beyond the CHANGELOG.md change. All that remains in the record is the description of the 0.22.0 entry, so it is not possible to confirm from this commit alone what results the automatic refresh and the merge-base comparison actually produce. There are also no release files or deployment schedule in this commit. Looking only within the scope of the published change list, this version is close in character to a change that reorganizes tool selection and comparison baselines.
