nosaka4i/sentient is a Go tool that monitors and records agent activity. This is not a post introducing the changes of a new version, but a rundown of the tool's current composition and scope as described in the repository README. It is split into sentientd, which runs with root privileges, and sen, a command-line tool that runs with user privileges. The README describes the default collection targets as Claude projects under /root and /home, and notes that the scope can be narrowed with the --home option.

The collected activity is meant to be reviewed in a local dashboard served at 127.0.0.1:7357. The setup is meant to observe the commands an agent actually executes and to keep an eye on privilege usage, so it focuses on the visibility and auditing of agent activity. The repository describes itself as aiming for a read-only, local-only design. The implementation language is Go and the license is MIT. The README also explains the Go unit tests and the procedure for generating code.

However, the README marks Tetragon integration as a later stage. So there is no basis for asserting that observing execution commands at the kernel level on Linux is currently offered. The collection scope written in the documentation is also limited to Claude projects, so its applicability to other agents is unconfirmed. The direction is clear, but until it is confirmed whether kernel-level observation is actually provided, it is reasonable to treat its scope as limited in its role as an auditing tool.
