vd171/vd-google released v1.13 on 2026-11-04. It is an app that reads and displays Google service information — such as RCS status, Google Wallet, and Play Integrity — directly from databases inside the device, on rooted Android devices. The center of this version is a fix for the reading problem where values came out entirely empty on some devices.
First, RCS reading has become accurate. Cases where the connection status was shown as "Not connected" even though it was working normally with Google Messages and recent Android (including Android 17) have been fixed, and the provStatusPev2 value is now reflected in the determination logic. The "RCS-capable contacts" count also no longer always displays 0 as it used to; it counts the entries carrying 3GPP support tags in rcs_remote_capabilities_cache and shows the actual figure.
Tab switching is now possible with left-right swipes. The export results of the app and the WebUI are now completely identical, and both outputs have an optional diagnostic section that contains no personal data. The diagnostic section holds values for checking whether the reading succeeded, such as the SQLite version, the list of tables read in, the number of contacts and RCS messages, and freshness statistics for the support cache. The version notation in build.gradle.kts was raised from versionCode 15 to 16 and versionName 1.12 to 1.13, and sqlite3 binaries for arm64-v8a and armeabi-v7a were newly included.
However, this change fixes the app's interpretation method; it is not a result that was cross-verified externally. The diagnostic section is likewise only a summary of the values read on the same device, so it does not tell you whether the other party can actually use RCS. The Availability, Status, and Features lines are cached values, so even if "No" or "0" appears it is not the real-time status, and a note was added saying that the Connection line should be used as the basis. Although x86_64 is also included in abiFilters, the sqlite3 binaries added this time are just the two: arm64-v8a and armeabi-v7a. The range of supported devices and the verification procedure were not presented in the release notes, and the license and repository statistics were not disclosed either. The changelog is contained in GitHub commit 6dba596 of vd171/vd-google.
