sodre90/mirador is a macOS·Linux desktop app that attaches a canvas beside a coding agent's conversation screen, so that the agent can explain things with drawings and display changes and reviews alongside the conversation. The commit 9ea0c49 of November 5, 2026 is a commit that deals with the problem where the screen went entirely blank when returning to another conversation while the canvas filled the window and the conversation box was hidden.
The cause was on the web screen's edit-input handling side. web/FormattedBox.tsx has a bridge function connecting the Lexical editor with internal components, and the commit added a single condition so that, just before applying the selection range, it returns as-is if the current focus is not in the editor box. According to the explanation attached to the code, Lexical re-focuses the box when applying a selection outside the box, so in a hidden box that cannot receive focus this process repeats endlessly. The same commit adds one regression test to e2e/formatted-box.tests.ts. It gives focus to the box while the input box is hidden, then checks whether no page error notice screen appears and whether the temporary text being written remains as it was.
That said, what this commit deals with is only one path in which the fullscreen canvas and the hidden conversation box overlap. The change came down to two files and 18 added lines, and the commit information does not carry any separate execution records or performance figures. It is not known whether other conversation-switching paths in the desktop app receive the same check. If you often use the fullscreen canvas, the place that was touched is the right one, but this material alone appears insufficient to regard stability as confirmed, and whether regressions occur later is something that remains to be watched.
