ReliaMesh is open-source reliability infrastructure for AI agents. The repository presents privacy-first event logging, deterministic detection, and self-hosted operation. The October 7, 2026 commit 0b87ca0, titled 'ReliaMesh brand mark and website favicons', added the brand mark and website favicons. It touches 12 files, with 65 lines added and 9 lines deleted.
The new assets are gathered in docs/brand/. The source raster master reliamesh-mark-master.png was exported into the 256px reliamesh-mark.png for site distribution, the 32px favicon-32.png, the 16/32/48px frame favicon.ico, and the 180px apple-touch-icon.png. The colors are fixed as mint #7EDCBD and navy #101B24, with off-white #EAF0F3 for the wordmark, and a mint symbol is placed on a native tile so that it reads in both light and dark browser tabs. The instructions used for generation also remain in docs/brand/generation-prompt.txt.
The actual serving went into src/reliamesh/api.py. Using importlib.resources to read files inside the package, it exposes four paths — /assets/reliamesh-mark.png, /favicon-32.png, /favicon.ico, /apple-touch-icon.png — as GET/HEAD-only routes, and hides them from the OpenAPI schema. The landing page HTML was also changed to have a <head> so that theme-color and icon links could be added. MANIFEST.in and the [tool.setuptools.package-data] rule in pyproject.toml were added together so that these files are carried in the package installation artifacts.
Two incidental changes remain. The CSP header gained img-src 'self' so that icon loading is allowed, and in the global rate-limit check only GET and HEAD asset requests are exempted so that favicons are not blocked with 429. And docs/grant-readiness.md changed present-tense narration to the past tense, fixing the point that at the October 6, 2026 deployment verification, the Cloud Run revision reliamesh-api-00005-mkb received 100% of traffic. License or performance figures are not presented in this commit. It is confirmed that brand assets have become part of the deployment output, but the impact of this change on observability cannot be known from the commit alone.
