Consensus-OSINT merged the 0.4.11 release commit on October 17, 2026. It is an OSINT (open-source intelligence gathering) tool that looks up usernames, email addresses, and phone numbers, in the form of a single collection of the lookup modules and site rules of 19 open-source projects. The goals for this version, as stated in the commit message, are to improve the usability of everyday searches and to raise confidence in the results. The changes span 21 files with 552 added lines and 99 deleted lines, and include fixes to the README, the CLI, and the interactive screen.

The most eye-catching difference is the README comparison table. The update-cycle column previously listed expected cycles such as 'every 2 days' and 'every 1 day', but the column name was changed to observed lookup update activity, and the values were replaced with the number of days on which actual changes occurred during the complete 30-day UTC period from September 17, 2026 to October 16, 2026. Maigret is recorded at 8 days and User Scanner at 13 days, and the last module update dates for the two tools were also updated to October 10 and October 15 respectively. The README adds that this re-verification targeted the three tools User Scanner, Maigret, and WhatsMyName, while other cycle figures continue to use the 6-month snapshot ending October 3. Windows/Linux verification badges and community links for the website, X, LinkedIn, and Reddit were also added, session_preferences.py was newly included, and interactive.py changed the most with 177 added lines and 33 deleted lines.

However, the diff contents of the code files recorded in the entry are empty, so it cannot be confirmed what settings the newly added session_preferences.py stores, or what changed in the interactive screen. The facts that can be confirmed are the file list and line counts, and the commit message. The module count is also inconsistent. The first line of the README states 9,700+ modules and site rules from 19 projects, while the repository description says 7,900+ lookup modules, and the combined results in the comparison table are 7,782 usernames, 205 emails, and 2 phone numbers, as a snapshot based on October 3, 2026. The updated activity figures are merely the number of dates on which changes occurred, not the release cycle, so it is difficult to use them as a basis for the maintenance period. There is not enough ground to expect that it will be updated once a day.
