longsurf-ai/endo is a harness that bundles multiple coding agents into a single screen. The README describes it as a Higher Order Harness (HOH), meaning a structure that treats agents as components and composes them freely. The commit bd7ec037 of October 26, 2026 integrated OpenCode into it as a native coding harness. It is now possible to switch the agent to OpenCode, alongside Codex, Claude Code, Antigravity, and Grok, within the same session.
OpenCode attaches by directly running each agent's CLI. You can use an already signed-in account as is, or connect a compatible endpoint through OpenCode's native model provider settings, and the relevant documentation is contained in docs/operations/opencode.md. On the code side, a new common/models/src/providers/opencode/adapter/ directory was created, holding modules such as acp.ts, language-model.ts, host-tools.ts, translate.ts, and native-config.ts together with their respective test files. On the onboarding screen, OpenCode was removed from the 'coming soon' list, and common/models/src/providers/opencode/binding.test.ts was also added. The overall commit size is 3823 lines changed, of which 3754 lines were added and 69 lines deleted.
One behavioral change was also included. Even when the agent is in a ready state, if the model list is empty it is no longer considered connected, and a button to check again is shown instead. The commit message states that escaping handling in the OpenCode settings and a permissions pattern fix are included as separate items. However, there is no separate version number or release note, and no performance or compatibility verification results are presented. Whether the newly attached OpenCode path is actually stable must be confirmed in a later update.
