jhlee0409/claude-code-history-viewer released v1.32.2 on 2026-10-20. It is a patch release that fixes the restore (Restore) behavior of the Recent Edits screen, which deals with AI coding assistant history. The restore button now works only on records where the entire file remains intact, and is disabled for records where only part can be brought back.
This repository is a desktop app and web server for browsing, searching, and analyzing the conversation and work history of assistants such as Claude Code, Codex CLI, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, Cursor, and OpenCode. The repository description states that it operates 100% offline, and the license is listed as MIT. What v1.32.2 touched is the determination of restore targets. Items recorded as full-file versions, such as Claude's edits and writes, are restored as before. Codex patches, OpenCode and Kilo edits, and edits whose results could not be reconstructed get the restore button turned off with a reason displayed, and attempting a restore is refused instead of overwriting the file.
The size of the commit's changes is small. An entry was added to CHANGELOG.md, and the version strings in package.json, src-tauri/Cargo.toml, Cargo.lock, and tauri.conf.json were changed from 1.32.1 to 1.32.2 — that is all. Out of 15 changes in total, there are 11 lines added and 4 lines deleted. The CHANGELOG recommends upgrading to Codex, OpenCode, and Kilo users, citing the backport of issue #682 and #705 as grounds. However, this evidence consists of the project's own records and issue numbers, and no independently verified results are presented. On the same day, 1.32.1, which covers WebUI server mode (--serve), was also released. If you use Codex, OpenCode, or Kilo, upgrading is the right call; the rest can wait without harm.
