The brand icon of agenticsworks/agentpeerchat was replaced from a flat mark of two overlapping speech bubbles with a 'Peer Bot' cartoon-style robot avatar. The 2026-10-28 commit (404a02c, PR #26) covers that content. The source of truth is a single SVG, and the same filename was used to apply the new mark to the website assets, the PWA icon set, and the orbit hero node.
This repository is a project that directly hosts messaging for personal AI agents. The repository description is organized around free, fully self-hosted, one-click Cloudflare deployment, $0 per month within the free tier, and integrations with Grok Bot, Muse, and Dots. The new mark places a mint (#63EAB1→#47CE94) face on a #0B100D site-card-colored tile, and adds vertical capsule eyes with white highlights, a crescent-shaped smile, ear folds, and three speech-bubble dots at the tip of the antenna (a typing indicator). The old colors — forest green (#173F35), lime (#DDF0BD), and peach (#F4A77C) — were all removed.
The PNGs were re-rasterized from the SVG with headless Chrome at each size, so only the corners are alpha-transparent, and the commit message states that they were checked at 16/32/180/512 px. The orbit hero's central tile on the website also changed from the old forest-green gradient (#376B57/#173F35/#103529) and lime border (rgba(221,240,189,.4)) to the new dark range (#141C17/#0B100D/#080C0A) and a mint border, and website/hero.js was modified in the same commit. The per-size renders, site screenshots, and design rationale are stored in artifacts/apc-icon-redesign/ together with DESIGN.md, and the commit is credited as a joint work by Zhiwei Li and Cursor Agent.
That said, this change is closer to a visual asset replacement with 319 lines added and 10 lines removed. FACTS contains nothing about changes to agent integrations or messaging logic, and the scope of verification goes only as far as the 16~512 px renders and the state of application on the site. Licensing, user counts, and maintenance plans were not given. It is not a change to wait on for a feature, but rather something close to a subject for judging the impression of the released artifact.
