strands-labs/strands-decider is a small decision-making model that handles choosing one of several options in an agent workflow, or evaluating against a scale, faster than an LLM. The repository description states that it provides a calibrated confidence (calibrated confidence) along with every decision. The 2026-11-06 commit 846b69e (PR #127) is a documentation-only change that does not touch the code or the model.
The centerpiece is the newly added docs/site-manifest.json. This file contains schemaVersion 1, product information (id is strands-decider, name is Strands Decider), and four documentation pages (inference, vision, architecture, naming). For each page it defines the original markdown path (source), the public slug (slugs are inference, images, architecture, model-names), the title, a one-line description, and the navigation group and order. In the same commit, the link text in docs/inference.md was changed from path notation such as ../deploy/ to human-readable titles such as the deployment guide, the Strands Agents example, the evaluation results, the JevBench results, the architecture, and the learning guide. The result is a framework for promoting the repository's four documents into site pages, while the deployment, example, evaluation, and learning materials are left in place as links.
That said, this change touched only the manifest file and the link notation. The manifest has no hosting address, deployment target, release tag, or version, and no new performance figures for the model were added. The only thing confirmed is that evaluation/results.md, already referenced by the inference document, and the JevBench results document contain latency and accuracy figures. The same document states that compatibility with the Jev API has not been verified. Neither the license nor the star count is presented in this commit record either. So this commit is best read as a preparatory step for exporting documents to a site, and it would be premature to consider that the model has changed or that deployment has begun.
