The latest commit of drumih/turbo-fieldfare, d994a65, is PR #195, merged on 2026-10-26, and it contains the code block copy feature and chat fixes targeted at 0.9.4. The change spans 23 files and 1169 lines (+1103 / -66), and the version constant the app displays has also been raised from 0.9.3 to 0.9.4. The newly created files are TranscriptCodeBlock.swift and two copy-related tests.
The repository description states that it runs Gemma 4 26B-A4B inference with about 2GB of memory on an M-Series MacBook. The core of this commit is the feature that moves code blocks drawn in the chat window to the clipboard with a single button. A transcript.copyCode. prefix was added as an accessibility identifier, and the newly added TranscriptCodeCopyTests.swift alone is 423 lines. The part that reuses the identifier of a code block when a streamed response is redrawn, so that focus stays on the button, corresponds to this.
The chat-side fix lay in the tokenizer's chat template rule. The condition that a system message must be the first one was changed to 'it must come before the conversation starts', which allows multiple system messages placed at the front. Apart from that, most of it is incremental rendering fixes. It addressed the problem where CR and LF arriving separately caused the whole code fence to be regenerated, and the problem where code blocks lost their identity when lists and blockquotes were parsed again. The server-side prompt cache and logging code were also modified, and the OpenAI-compatible server documentation grew by 8 lines.
However, this commit contains no performance figures or benchmarks, and the release notes for 0.9.4 or the kind of license are not presented along with it. It is too early to judge how much of the symptoms the copy and chat fixes removed without user confirmation after deployment. Changes in terms of memory usage or inference speed cannot be known from this material alone.
