devswha/ovis is a browser and phone client for herdr, previously known as the herdr web UI. The latest release shown on the GitHub repository is v0.4.19. The provided materials do not say what changed in this version. You can remotely read and reply to sessions of Claude Code, Codex running on your computer and of each agent panel, and switch to a live terminal when needed.

The goal of this project is to continue sessions even when you are not sitting directly at the computer where the coding agents are running. It is provided as a PWA (installable web app) that can be installed and used in a browser and on a phone, and it supports connecting to remote PCs over SSH as well as web push notifications. It can also show approval and question cards, status notifications, open files, and create worktrees. It is written in TypeScript and uses the MIT license.

The test materials record more than 100 server tests and close to 160 front-end library tests. Contract tests such as api.contract, claude-session.contract and codex-binding.contract also verify protocol promises. That said, handling an agent terminal through a web UI is already common, so the novelty is limited. The fact that App.tsx is 104KB is also worth considering when looking at the structure. It is hard to judge actual performance or stability from these materials alone.
