Coding Agent CLIs
Standalone command-line agents that inspect repositories, edit files, and run software tasks. A specific development domain takes precedence over local-first design; local-first design takes precedence over general terminal agents. Merely supporting a local model is insufficient for local-first placement. Excludes workbenches, orchestrators, and non-agent CLIs.
Subfields
Local-First Coding Agents
Terminal coding agents designed around locally hosted open models, low-resource hardware, or offline operation; it excludes cloud-only assistants and model-serving engines that do not edit code.
1 projectsTerminal CLI Coding Agents
General-purpose terminal coding agents backed by hosted or user-selected language models; it excludes model-download managers, desktop shells, and inference engines that do not edit code.
