The latest release of d-kimuson/claude-code-viewer, a client for managing Claude Code projects on the web and analyzing conversation logs, is v0.8.2. The repository is written in TypeScript and is distributed under the MIT license. Its core appeal is browsing session history in the browser and watching running tasks in real time.

The project reads JSONL logs directly from ~/.claude/projects to automatically detect new projects and sessions. On top of its conversation log analysis, it has a built-in terminal and Git operations, so it works as a project management tool rather than merely a way to review records. You drill down through the conversations and execution records left under each project and session. Chat sending and session resume, features of the Agent SDK, can be switched on optionally. The repository description states that this client has the conversational features needed for project management. The repository was created on August 31, 2025 and has 1,299 stars.

However, the changelog showing what changed in v0.8.2 is not organized in the source material. There are also no benchmarks backing performance or usage scale, so it is hard to gauge differences in stability or speed from publicly available information alone. Which features it contains can be determined from the README, but what v0.8.2 improved and how much better it is compared with existing features can only be known by checking the release notes directly.
