jimoto-no-llm/rustdsh is a Rust launcher for running the DeepSeek Harness quickly. It provides model configuration and lightweight local tooling, and guides the move from Claude Code and Codex. v0.7.0 is a release that widens the native Linux package distribution path. The GitHub release became public on October 17, 2026.

This version attaches Debian packages built with nfpm v2.48.0 and Red Hat packages to the release. Linux users can therefore install the packages via apt or dnf. Homebrew, Scoop, and Winget manifests were added as well, together with a workflow that automatically determines the release cycle. The center of the change lies less in the run capability itself than in distribution and installation paths through several package managers. This setup adds an installable distribution format to the role of a launcher that runs the DeepSeek Harness.

The packages have no GPG signature, and a SHA-256 checksum file is provided alongside them. You can therefore verify file integrity with the checksum, but there is no way to verify the distributor's identity by signature. There are no performance comparisons or real-world usage results in the given information. v0.7.0 is a release that adds installation options, and environments that require signature verification should weigh whether checksums alone are enough.
