davidondrej/cloudroom-core is an open-source Rust runtime that runs Claude Code, Codex, and Pi in the cloud. The core-v0.1.62 release, published on October 17, 2026, fixes the problem where sending /compact, message edits, or Goal control to an idle agent failed with a 409 error. An agent waiting in standby is now woken before the request is retried. The changes are recorded in the core-v0.1.62 release notes in the repository.

This change adjusts the retry path so control requests can be handled while an agent is asleep. In Claude Code, the context meter now reflects the new size once compaction finishes. room-cli automation is renamed to room-cli loop. Mac commands run only after cloud approval. A Pi child started without a provider and model exits immediately with a clear error. So this release includes not only request handling in the idle state but also the display after compaction, the automation name, command approval, and start-up error handling.

The Linux build is based on commit 02ee8e289654. The only build baseline that can be confirmed in the provided release information is this commit, and no baseline or performance figures for other builds are given. What can be confirmed in this release is therefore limited to the stated behavior changes and that Linux build baseline.
